2 Days 1 Night Marrakech Camel Trekking Tour

This intensive 2-day tour is designed for travellers who want to combine a Marrakech-to-Fes transfer with a short Sahara experience. The first day crosses the High Atlas Mountains and continues through Ouarzazate, the Valley of Roses and Dades Valley before reaching Merzouga. Ride a camel across the Erg Chebbi dunes and spend the night in a traditional desert camp. The second day includes a long drive through Rissani, the Ziz Valley, Midelt and the Middle Atlas Mountains before arrival in Fes.

Your Itinerary

1. Day 1

   Marrakech to Merzouga

   Depart from Marrakech early in the morning and cross the High Atlas Mountains through Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Continue through Ouarzazate, the Valley of Roses and Dades Valley toward Merzouga. Upon arrival near the Erg Chebbi dunes, enjoy mint tea before meeting your camel guide. Ride across the golden dunes and reach the desert camp for dinner, music around the campfire and an overnight stay beneath the stars.

2. Day 2

   Merzouga to Fes

   Wake early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return from the desert and begin the long journey toward Fes. Travel through Rissani, the Ziz Valley and Midelt before crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains and arriving in Fes in the afternoon or evening.
