Your Itinerary

1. Day 1

   Merzouga → Rissani → Todra Gorge → Dades Valley → Ouarzazate

   Your journey begins with pickup from your accommodation in Merzouga. Travel toward Rissani, a historic town that once served as an important center for trans-Saharan trade and the former capital of the Tafilalt region. Continue toward Tinghir and stop to explore the spectacular Todra Gorge, known for its towering rock walls and scenic riverside paths. After some free time for walking and lunch, travel through the dramatic landscapes of the Dades Valley and the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Arrive in Ouarzazate in the late afternoon, where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night at your hotel.

2. Day 2

   Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → High Atlas → Marrakech

   After breakfast, explore Ouarzazate and see some of its best-known landmarks, including Taourirt Kasbah and the famous Atlas Film Studios. Continue to the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, one of Morocco’s most impressive fortified villages. Enjoy time to walk through its traditional alleys, admire the earthen architecture, and have lunch nearby. The journey then continues across the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Several stops will be made along the way for panoramic views, photographs, and small mountain villages. Arrival in Marrakech is expected in the late afternoon, followed by drop-off at your accommodation.
