3 days & 2 Nights Marrakech Camel Trekking Tour

This 3-day round-trip desert tour from Marrakech combines Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains, UNESCO-listed kasbahs, dramatic gorges and the golden dunes of Merzouga. The journey begins with Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate before continuing through the Valley of Roses and Dades Valley. On the second day, explore Todra Gorge and Rissani before riding a camel across the Erg Chebbi dunes. Spend the night in a private luxury desert-camp tent before returning to Marrakech on the final day.

Your Itinerary

1. Day 1

   Marrakech to Dades Valley

   Depart from Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains through Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Visit Ait Ben Haddou and continue to Ouarzazate and Atlas Film Studios. Travel through the Valley of Roses and Dades Valley before arriving near Dades Gorge for dinner and an overnight stay.

2. Day 2

   Dades Valley to Merzouga

   After breakfast, continue toward Tinghir and explore Todra Gorge. Travel through the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to Rissani, where you may visit the traditional market during the lunch stop. Continue to Merzouga and begin a sunset camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes. Arrive at the luxury desert camp for dinner and an overnight stay beneath the stars.

3. Day 3

   Merzouga to Marrakech

   Wake early to admire the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return from the desert and begin the long journey to Marrakech. Travel through Rissani and Ouarzazate, with rest and panoramic stops along the way. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening.
