Your Itinerary

1. Day 1

   Merzouga → Rissani → Midelt → Azrou → Ifrane → Fes

   Your journey begins with pickup from your accommodation in Merzouga. Travel toward Rissani, a historic town known for its traditional market, desert heritage, and former importance as a trans-Saharan trading center. Continue through the changing landscapes of the Ziz Valley and the Atlas Mountains before reaching Midelt, where you can stop for lunch and enjoy views of the surrounding mountain scenery. In the afternoon, visit the cedar forest near Azrou, home to Barbary macaques and impressive ancient cedar trees. Continue to Ifrane, a peaceful mountain town known for its alpine atmosphere and European-style architecture. Arrive in Fes in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at your accommodation.

2. Day 2

   Guided Fes City Tour

   After breakfast, meet your local guide and begin a full-day exploration of Fes, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual capital. Walk through the narrow streets of the ancient Medina and discover traditional souks, artisan workshops, historic fountains, and impressive Islamic architecture. See important landmarks such as Bou Inania Madrasa, Al-Attarine Madrasa, the exterior of Al Quaraouiyine University, and the famous Chouara Tanneries. You will also explore the Nejjarine area, traditional craft districts, and some of the Medina’s most beautiful gates and viewpoints. During the tour, your guide will share stories about the history, traditions, and daily life of Fes. After the guided visit, return to your accommodation for dinner and a second overnight stay in Fes.

3. Day 3

   Fes → Chefchaouen

   After breakfast, leave Fes and travel north through the scenic landscapes of the Rif region toward Chefchaouen. Upon arrival, admire the city’s distinctive blue-painted buildings, peaceful streets, and mountain surroundings. Your driver will drop you off at your accommodation in Chefchaouen, marking the end of the tour.
