Your Itinerary

1. Day 1

   Fez / Ifrane / Midelt / Merzouga

   Pickup from Fez at 8:00. Drive through the Middle Atlas via Ifrane, the Swiss-style resort town, and the Azrou cedar forest to see monkeys. Continue through valleys and Berber villages, stopping for lunch in Midelt. Pass palm oases en route to Merzouga, arriving at the Erg Chebbi dunes in the afternoon. After mint tea, take a camel trek across the dunes to watch the sunset, reaching the desert camp about an hour later. Enjoy dinner, a campfire, and traditional music in your Berber tent.

2. Day 2

   Rissani / Todra Gorge / Ouarzazate

   After breakfast, depart for Ouarzazate along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, a scenic route featured in Hollywood films like The Last Temptation of Christ. Stop for lunch and a walk through Todra Gorge, then continue through the dramatic Dadès Valley, arriving in Ouarzazate in the afternoon for dinner and overnight.

3. Day 3

   Ouarzazate / Ait Ben Haddou / Marrakech

   After breakfast, visit Ouarzazate's Kasbah of Taourirt and Atlas Studios. Continue to Ait Ben Haddou for lunch and a visit to its UNESCO-listed Kasbah, featured in films like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. Cross the High Atlas via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2,260m), taking in villages, waterfalls, and shifting mountain scenery before arriving in Marrakech in the afternoon.
