4 Days 3 Nights Morocco Tour from Fes to Marrakech via Imlil

This 4-day tour combines two distinctive desert-camp experiences with the mountain landscapes of Imlil. Travel from Fes through the Middle Atlas Mountains and the Ziz Valley before spending the first night near the Erg Chebbi dunes. Continue through Todra Gorge, Dades Valley, Skoura and Ouarzazate before reaching the peaceful surroundings of Oasis Najm for a second camp experience. The final day includes Ait Ben Haddou and the High Atlas Mountains before the tour concludes in Imlil, a mountain village known as a gateway to Toubkal National Park.

Your Itinerary

1. Day 1

   Fes to Merzouga and Erg Chebbi

   Depart from Fes and travel through Ifrane before visiting the cedar forests near Azrou. Cross the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop in Midelt for lunch. Continue through the Ziz Valley and desert landscapes toward Merzouga. After mint tea and time to rest, transfer by 4×4 to the desert camp. A camel trek may be arranged instead upon request. Enjoy dinner, stargazing and an overnight stay in a traditional camp near the Erg Chebbi dunes.

2. Day 2

   Merzouga to Dades Valley

   Wake early to admire the sunrise before breakfast and departure. Travel toward Tinghir and Todra Gorge through the southeastern desert landscapes. Walk between the impressive canyon walls and enjoy views of the river and surrounding palm groves. Continue through the Dades Valley and arrive at your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

3. Day 3

   Dades Valley to Oasis Najm

   After breakfast, explore the landscapes of the Dades Gorge before travelling through the Valley of Roses and Skoura. Stop in Ouarzazate to visit the Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas Film Studios. Continue to Oasis Najm in the afternoon. Explore the oasis surroundings before enjoying dinner and an overnight camp experience.

4. Day 4

   Oasis Najm to Imlil

   After breakfast and a morning walk, depart toward Ait Ben Haddou. Explore the UNESCO-listed fortified village and its traditional earthen buildings before continuing into the High Atlas Mountains. Travel through dramatic mountain scenery and traditional villages before arriving in Imlil, where the tour concludes.
