One Week North to South Morocco Tour
This north-to-south Morocco tour combines historic medinas, mountain scenery, the Sahara Desert, traditional kasbahs and the Atlantic coast. Begin in Tangier and Chefchaouen before travelling to Fes. Cross the Middle Atlas Mountains and continue through the Ziz Valley to Merzouga, where a sunset camel trek leads to an overnight camp among the Erg Chebbi dunes. Travel through Rissani, Todra Gorge and Dades Valley to Ouarzazate. Visit Ait Ben Haddou before crossing the High Atlas Mountains toward Essaouira. Complete the journey in Marrakech with a guided visit of its monuments, souks and Jemaa el-Fna Square.

Your Itinerary
- Day 1
Tangier to Chefchaouen
Meet your driver upon arrival in Tangier and travel through the Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen. Enjoy panoramic stops before arriving in the blue city for dinner and an overnight stay.
- Day 2
Chefchaouen to Fes
After breakfast, explore Chefchaouen’s blue medina, traditional souks and main square. Depart toward Fes and discover part of its historic medina, including traditional streets, fountains, madrasas and the exterior of important religious landmarks. Dinner and overnight stay in Fes.
- Day 3
Fes to Merzouga
Travel through Ifrane and cross the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Midelt for lunch before continuing through the Ziz Valley toward Merzouga. Meet your camel guide and ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset. Enjoy dinner, traditional hospitality and an overnight stay in a desert camp.
- Day 4
Merzouga to Ouarzazate
After breakfast, leave Merzouga and visit Rissani. Continue toward Tinghir and walk through Todra Gorge before travelling through the Dades Valley and the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Arrive in Ouarzazate for dinner and an overnight stay.
- Day 5
Ouarzazate to Essaouira
Visit Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas Film Studios before continuing to Ait Ben Haddou. Explore the UNESCO-listed fortified village and cross the High Atlas Mountains through Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Continue west toward Essaouira and arrive in the afternoon or evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Essaouira.
- Day 6
Essaouira to Marrakech
Enjoy time to explore Essaouira, including its medina, ramparts, harbour and artisan workshops. Depart toward Marrakech, with a possible stop at an argan-oil cooperative. Arrive in Marrakech for dinner and an overnight stay.
- Day 7
Guided Tour of Marrakech
Explore Marrakech with a local guide. Visit the Menara Gardens, Koutoubia Mosque area, Saadian Tombs, Dar Si Said Museum, Bahia Palace, colourful souks and Jemaa el-Fna Square. Dinner and overnight stay in Marrakech.

Departure from Marrakech
Transfer to Marrakech Airport according to your departure time.
